RateWatch360 is a service of Go Direct Lenders, LLC (NMLS #1028986). In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Go Direct Lenders, LLC. We do not sell or share your personal information for others’ marketing.

What this service does

RateWatch360 compares mortgage market rates with the rate you tell us you have today, and emails you when rates drop far enough that refinancing may be worth a look. You choose how big a drop you’re waiting for.

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and a password (stored only as a one-way hash). If you sign in with Google, Microsoft or Yahoo, we receive your name and email from that provider; we never see their password.
• Mortgage details: your approximate current rate, loan balance, loan type and the rate drop you want to hear about.
• Contact preferences and consent: how you want to be alerted, your phone number if you give it, and a record of your consent (date, time and IP address), which we keep for compliance.
• Messages you send us through the contact form.
• Basic technical data such as IP address and browser type in server logs, used for security and troubleshooting.

We don’t ask for your Social Security number, income or bank details, and we don’t pull your credit.

Where it comes from

• You, when you sign up, edit your rate watch or contact us.
• Our own records, if you were a Go Direct Lenders client: we may invite you to a rate watch pre-filled with your rate, an estimated balance and loan type from your past loan. Nothing is monitored until you confirm, and you can correct or decline anything.
• A real estate agent’s link: if you sign up through an agent’s personal link, we record which agent referred you.

How we use it

• To run your rate watch and send the alerts and account emails you asked for.
• To have a Go Direct Lenders loan officer follow up about refinancing when your target is reached, as you agreed when you signed up.
• To answer your questions and requests.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Who we share it with

• Service providers that run the service for us: Amazon Web Services (hosting, database and email delivery, with data stored in the United States) and, only if you choose to sign in with them, Google, Microsoft or Yahoo.
• Go Direct Lenders’ own systems and staff, including our customer relationship management (CRM) system, so your loan officer knows when you sign up, decline or receive an alert.
• Your referring agent, only as a count: agents see how many of their clients are watching rates and how many have been alerted, never your name, contact details or loan information.
• When required by law, for example to respond to a regulator, a subpoena or to protect against fraud.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with other companies for their own marketing. Mobile numbers and text-message opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing. Text alerts are sent through our phone provider, GoTo Connect, which handles your number only to deliver the messages.

Federal privacy notice

As a mortgage company, Go Direct Lenders follows the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act. Federal law lets you limit some, but not all, sharing of your personal information. Here is how we share what we collect through RateWatch360:

We do contact you ourselves about refinancing, as you agreed when you signed up, and you can stop that anytime with the unsubscribe link or our contact form. Go Direct Lenders’ full privacy notice for loan customers is at godirectlenders.com/privacy.

Your choices

• Pause or change your watch anytime by signing in.
• Unsubscribe with the link at the bottom of any email; it takes effect immediately. For text alerts, reply STOP.
• Ask to see, correct or delete your information using our contact form (choose “Privacy request”). We’ll confirm it’s you by replying to the email address on your account. We may keep some records where the law requires us to.

California residents

If you live in California, you can ask us what personal information we have collected about you and how we use it, and ask us to correct or delete it. You can also ask us not to sell or share it, though we don’t do either. We won’t treat you differently for making a request, and you can have an authorized agent make a request for you. Some information related to a mortgage loan is covered by federal financial privacy law instead. To make a request, use our contact form. We respond within 45 days.

Cookies and tracking

We don’t use advertising cookies, cross-site trackers or analytics services. Your browser’s local storage keeps you signed in and remembers which agent’s link you came from. Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google to download them. Because we don’t track you across sites, we don’t respond differently to “Do Not Track” signals.

Retention and security

We keep your information while your rate watch or account is active, and afterward as long as needed for legal, regulatory and record-keeping purposes. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes, data is encrypted in transit, and access is limited to people and systems that need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.

Children

RateWatch360 is for adults and is not directed to anyone under 18. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.

Changes and contact

If we make material changes, we’ll update this page and the date above, and email active users about significant changes.
